The Shaviram Group transforms both residential and commercial properties into state-of-the-art, high-quality homes, and pride themselves on building exceptional places for people to live and enjoy.
The client has permission to develop this office block in the heart of Milton Keynes with a view to providing a two-storey roof extension on top of the existing three storeys to accommodate 154 apartments.
DRG was commissioned as main contractor and initiated the strip-out works in August 2023, marking the start of the work to create living spaces.

The DRG solution
Externally, the building was enhanced with a new two-storey vertical extension complete with newly constructed roofs and an upgraded façade. The original cladding was fully removed and replaced with modern, safety-compliant materials that elevate both performance and appearance. In addition, all existing windows were upgraded with new high-efficiency glazing, further improving the building’s overall quality and finish.
Internally, following strip-out and structural work, partition walls and new doors were installed throughout to create the individual apartments. Each apartment is now completed to turnkey standard, with high-specification kitchens and bathrooms and performance flooring throughout.

The result
Silbury and Buckingham Court is now home to 154 one and two-bedroom apartments and has been equipped to a high standard. In line with our carbon offsetting partnership with Ecologi, the project led to the planting of 154 trees.
