Our client transforms both residential and commercial properties into state-of-the-art, high-quality homes, and pride themselves on building exceptional places for people to live and enjoy.
They took on an existing office building in Hastings, with a view to repurposing the structure into 84 self-contained flats, with elegant living spaces spread over 12 floors, with 41 featuring two bedrooms and 31 offering one-bedroom layouts. As the main contractor, DRG initiated the strip-out works in May 2023 and paved the way for this exciting project.

The DRG solution
Externally, roofs are to be re-covered with insulation and single ply membrane and existing windows to be retained. Internally, following strip-out and structural work, partition walls and new doors are to be installed throughout to create the individual apartments. Each apartment is to be completed to turnkey standard, with high-specification kitchens and bathrooms and performance flooring throughout.
