Imagination Street is a family-owned soft play and trampoline business. Aimed at young children, the owners are passionate about creating fun, interactive play spaces where imaginations can thrive.
In 2012, the client acquired an empty 20,000 ft warehouse in Redditch, with the goal of creating the largest combined indoor soft play and trampoline park in the area, with the biggest play-frame to match. The next step was to find a contractor to partner with, to bring their ambitions to life.

The DRG solution
After being approached by Imagination Street via a referral, DRG Solutions set about creating an entire reimagined interior for Imagination Street, including a large and engaging reception area, family-friendly toilet blocks, updated kitchen and most importantly – the play areas.
The work commenced with a full strip-out of the space, followed by constructing a mezzanine floor to create dedicated party rooms, to add value to the client’s offering to its customers. To further tailor the venue to children, a bright colour palette was used throughout, and kid-sized toilets and urinals were created. We ensured no finger traps or sharp edges appeared anywhere in the venue, and added door-jam protectors were included throughout, to stop little fingers getting trapped.
As part of the Project Management service, DRG Solutions oversaw the installation of the soft play structure itself, which arrived in kit form and was constructed by the frame supplier.

The result
Imagination Street is now one of the top soft play destinations in the area, home to fifty comfortable leather sofas, free Wi-fi, and multiple play areas for children to enjoy.
