Client & brief

The client had acquired the two properties with a view to undertaking Cat A post-tenancy dilapidation refurbishments across both, ready for their next stages of use.

Unit 601 required a complete strip-out and refurbishment, whereas 605 required a refresh. Unit 601 had previously been a Ministry of Defence occupied building that required modernising and needed new mechanical and electricals throughout, including air conditioning. The unit had lots of partitions, which needed stripping out, and the walls were in a poor condition, so these had to be made good prior to decoration.

Unit 605’s walls also required making good, and the project also included new flooring throughout, redecoration, and replacing lights and ceiling tiles in the existing grid ceiling.
