At 225,000 sq.ft. Brunel House is a large and eye-catching office building in the skyline of Cardiff City centre. Situated in the heart of the Welsh capital, Brunel House lies within easy reach of the city’s amenities and transport links.
The work came to DRG Interior & Building Solutions via a referral. The landlord of the commercial space required a full refurbishment of floors 12-14 to create a modern, high-spec and usable interior environment for their current commercial clients, and to attract new businesses to the flexible office spaces still available to let.

The DRG solution
As reception was in use during the time of the work, some office staff were redirected for the duration of the project to minimise disruption.
The majority of office spaces across floors 12-14 were empty and being refurbished to attract new tenants. DRG Interior & Building Solutions began by stripping out existing internal partitions and removing the old ceiling panels, before constructing a new modern suspended ceiling to improve the aesthetic of the space, hiding running pipework, ducting and electrics.
Work was also undertaken on the toilets and air conditioning system to ensure everything was in good working order. DRG Interior & Building Solutions also undertook some smaller additional work to other floors as required, whilst we were onsite.
